Palm Harbor Shows Homes at Gulf Coast Recovery Fair

August 11-14, 2006 in Biloxi, Mississippi

Come tour two new Palm Harbor homes designed for the Gulf Coast Region at Mississippi Governor Hailey Barbour's Recovery Expo August 11-13, 2006. The event takes place at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi and is free to the general public. Events include product demonstrations, town hall meetings and programs on topics such as hurricane preparedness and construction techniques

Palm Harbor Homes will have two homes, "The Magnolia" and "The Azalea," included in a landscaped neighborhood of 20+ manufactured, modular and steel frame homes at the event.

"The Magnolia" is a 1,584 sf, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home, featuring full porches front and rear. This traditional center isle home's design allows gentle coastal breezes to flow through its living areas. Palm Harbor engineered this beautiful modular home (built to your local building code) to set on stilts with a stairwell underneath. The extra area provides space for secure storage. And with the center staircase, it also works perfectly for covered, off-street parking. Nine-foot ceilings, ceramic tile floors, back splash and ceramic tile shower round out the home. The included solid surface countertops and stainless steel sink and appliances provide a modern touch of elegance.

"The Azalea" is a quaint cottage as southern as its name. The well-designed floor plan maximizes every inch of its 704 sf, including 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. With a full front porch and narrow profile, it is perfect for bayou or city in fill lots. The Azalea is a great entry-level home for the first-time homebuyer. It's also perfect for interim housing, or as a second or retirement home.
