Our Community Involvement

Through Habitat for Humanity and similar charitable programs, the spirit of giving is alive and well at Palm Harbor Homes.

Palm Harbor Homes encourages our more than 4,500 associates across the nation to get involved in their individual communities. Our associates sponsor year-round events to raise money and additional necessary items for those in need.

Our position in the affordable housing market drives our desire to help people in dire need of housing. In order to find the most deserving local candidates, we partner with respected charitable and media operations to assist us in the selection process. Palm Harbor Homes has worked with Habitat for Humanity, local charities and even media sponsors such as the Montel Williams Show. Through these organizations, we have been able to provide housing to those in particularly desperate situations.

Palm Harbor Homes recently worked with Habitat for Humanity International on two projects: Builders Blitz 2006 and DESIGNHabitat2. Both projects involved building houses for a family in the Habitat for Humanity program. Through Habitat for Humanity and similar charitable programs, the spirit of giving is alive and well at Palm Harbor Homes.
