Palm Harbor Homes receives the 2006 Manufactured Housing Institute's (MHI) National Industry Award for

The Manufactured Housing Institute recognizes Palm Harbor as an industry role model and leader. This distinguished honor is a milestone for our company and a testament to the quality of our people, our homes and our customers.

MHI is the national trade organization representing all segments of the manufactured and modular housing industries, including manufacturers, retailers, community owners, suppliers, financial institutions, state associations and developers. Nominations for this award were made by members of the MHI Manufacturers Division and all MHI members were eligible to vote in the selection process, making this award one of the most prestigious honors bestowed in the industry. The award was presented today during the 2006 National Congress & Expo for Manufactured and Modular Housing, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Palm Harbor Homes Wins Three MHI Design Awards

Palm Harbor Vice President of Design and Product Development Tony Lucas has also been recognized by MHI with three awards for excellence in design. MHI presented the awards to Mr. Lucas during the 2006 National Congress and Expo.

Mr. Lucas's design awards recognize two designs specifically for the Gulf Coast Region and one designed for retirement-age homebuyers. All three of the homes have been designed to blend in with the existing architecture of the area in which they are sold.
